Kasta Morrely Association develops the International Project
"UPGRADE YOUTH WORK"
- Partnership Building Activity -

funded by European Union through Erasmus+ Programmme


Kasta Morrely and 12 partner organizations with experience in the youth sector aimed to strengthen the partnerships at European level to contribute to development of youth competences for a better integration on the labour market.
The project took place in Iasi, Romania from 25 October to 2 November 2016 with the participation of 33 youth workers from 12 partner states: Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Portugal, Turkey, Macedonia, Romania, Italy, Cyprus, Greece, France, Poland.

The Partnership Building Activity "Upgrade Youth Work" aimed to:

  • Enhance collaboration at international level among 13 organizations interested in developing projects addressed to young people, youth workers and youth leaders
  • Create 3 projects drafts for Erasmus + Youth to contribute to combating youth unemployment by recognition of competences on the labour market, initiative and entrepreneurship among young people, participation in civic and political life;
  • Developing the competences of 33 participants from 12 European countries in writing and management Erasmus + Youth projects.


The project was dynamic and by the themes approached fructified this international framework to create innovative ideas for projects to address the needs of development in the youth sector. Within the mobility the participants worked in multinational teams and created 4 projects drafts with the following themes: recognition of competences on the labour market, initiative and entrepreneurship among young people, participation in civic and political life, intercultural dialogue and social inclusion.

The PBA was based on non-formal education methods: simulation TV show – presentation of the organizations, mind mapping on the project themes, brainstorming and presentation European policies on combating youth unemployment, round table Combating youth unemployment through international cooperation, working laboratories on the projects drafts, intercultural evening, inter-organizational night etc.

The Partnership Building Activity Upgrade Youth Work aimed as results and impact on long-term outcomes increasing the quality in the youth sector, the development of sustainable international partnerships, training of resource persons to initiate future Erasmus + projects in partnership.
